Dimension Films have acquired the rights to an English-language remake of 2010 South Korean action thriller “The Man From Nowhere” reports Deadline.
The story follows a quiet pawnshop keeper with a violent past who takes on a drug- and organ-trafficking ring to save the child who is his only friend. Shawn Christensen (“Abduction”) has been hired to pen the script for the remake.
The original was the highest grossing film at the Korean box office surpassing the likes of “Inception” and “Iron Man 2”.
