“Man of Steel” Set For June 14th 2013

Zac Snyder’s “Man of Steel”, the Superman reboot at Warner Bros. and Legendary Pictures, has finally scored a release date and it’s about six months later than expected.

Box-Office Mojo reports that the film will not be opening December 2012 as had been suggested but rather June 14th 2013.

Meanwhile Hollywood Snitch reports that Snyder was seen scouting Chicago’s Union Station ahead of the film’s shoot.

Finally, the release last month of the “Superman” Blu-ray anthology set included the famous ‘Return to Krypton’ sequence – a reported $ 10 million visual effects heavy extended scene that was to serve as the original opening for Bryan Singer’s “Superman Returns”. Well an HD copy of said scene is now online and can be watched below:
