The Province reports that the Michael Bay-produced “Ninja Turtles” reboot will begin shooting later this year.
In fact, Paramount Pictures is looking to start principal photography late this summer or early in the fall in Vancouver. The film is live-action but the turtles are expected to be motion capture CGI – ala last year’s “Rise of the Planet of the Apes”.
Jonathan Liebesman (“Wrath of the Titans”) directs from a screenplay by Josh Appelbaum and André Nemec (“Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol”). Bay is producing and the film is slated to open Christmas 2013.
