Parker Posey has joined while Milo Ventimiglia is in negotiations to join the cast of Olivier Dahan’s “Grace of Monaco” says Variety.
Nicole Kidman will play actress Grace Kelly, who was called upon to save Monaco from an escalating situation regarding its tax haven status. Tim Roth has already been cast as her husband Prince Rainier III whom French leader Charles de Gaulle gave six months to reform the nation’s tax laws.
Posey will play Madge Tivey-Faucon, Kelly’s scheming lady-in-waiting. Ventimiglia will play Kelly’s publicist Rupert Allan who served as consul general for the principality of Monaco. Frank Langella and Paz Vega also star.
Shooting is about to get underway in France before moving to Belgium.
