Visual effects artist Tim Miller has been tapped to direct the sci-fi action thriller “Artemis” for 20th Century Fox.
Andrew Lobel (“Tunnels”) will pen the script for what is described as a “contained action thriller set in outer space”.
No further details are known, other than John Davis will produce. Miller’s name has been linked with various projects, including Fox’s long-in-development “Deadpool” movie.
Miller created the disturbing opening credits sequence for David Fincher’s “The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo” adaptation, and directed the Fincher-produced “Halo 4” launch trailer late last year.
