Eureka
When word came down that Syfy was not renewing its hit series for a sixth season, it shocked a lot of people. Shooting on what was to be the fifth season finale begins next week and the writers simply didn’t have the time to retool the episode as a series finale.

Now, Syfy has given them a consolation prize – ordering one additional episode for the fifth season which will allow the cast and crew members to tie all the character and story arcs up. Work has already begun on writing the episode. [Source: io9]

True Blood

Alan Ball will be returning for the full run as show producer.

Filming has begun in Toronto on the 12-part action series “Transporter” based on the film franchise with Chris Vance in the title role of Frank Martin.

Shooting through this November, the series will debut on CINEMAX in 2012.
