Tyler Perry’s filmmaking studio in southwest Atlanta has been troubled by fire for the second time this year says The Los Angeles Times.
On Monday a “small” fire broke out at the complex, but one small enough it was put out with a fire extinguisher. No filming was taking place when the fire occurred.
A spokesperson for Perry says “The Atlanta Fire Dept. responded within minutes and all is fine”. The Atlanta Fire Department did not respond to requests for comment.
This follows an incident in May when a more serious fire at the 30-acre complex brought 100 firefighters, 13 engines and 12 trucks to the scene.
