IFC Films has scheduled a March 27th U.S. limited theatrical release, followed by a March 30th VOD release of Evan Creevy’s “Welcome To The Punch”.
The film follows detective Max Lewinsky (James McAvoy) and master criminal Jacob Sternwood (Mark Strong). The latter is forced to return to London, giving the former a chance to get the criminal who got away.
The date is a surprise given that it comes a week before another James McAvoy film, Danny Boyle’s “Trance,” hits cinemas on April 5th.
