Fox is in negotiations to pre-emptively pick up the movie rights to Wes Ball’s 8-minute animated short “Ruin” with plans to turn it into a live-action movie says Heat Vision.
The story is set in a post-apocalyptic North American city overgrown with foliage. Ball has done graphic work for HBO and Blu-ray and DVD featurettes.
Ball is attached to direct and will co-write the script with T.S. Nowlin, while McG and Steve Tzirlin are negotiating to produce.
