Going into its fifth year, the SFU Entrepreneur of the Year program aims to inspire, support, and launch entrepreneurs.
Attendees of the 5th Annual Competition and Awards Ceremony will have the opportunity to watch four entrepreneurs present their businesses to a panel of industry professionals, followed by a Q&A session.
The finalists will be competing for the prestigious title, a cash prize, mentorship from local entrepreneurs, office space, in-kind gifts, and exposure. Past winners include Milun Tesovic (MetroLyrics, acquired by CBS), Benjamin Brown-Bentley (Adrenaline Productions), Jordan Gutierrez (Librerio LEO), and Matias Marquez (Buyatab Online Inc.)
During the Awards Ceremony, judges, participants, and attendees can mingle and connect over appetizers and drinks. Two speakers will share their insights and advice on their entrepreneurial endeavours. All Competition awards will be given out during the Ceremony, including the winner of the SEY 2012 title.
This event is a great opportunity to meet talented and emerging entrepreneurs, interact with business professionals, and get involved in the entrepreneurship community in the Lower Mainland.
Tickets Information: The Competition is free to attend. Award Ceremony will have $ 20 tickets on sale from November 12 – 16. Regular priced tickets will be $ 30 from November 17 – 24.
