Yet another bomb scare at a SkyTrain station.
This time it was in New West, as a man found a pipe covered with white powder and brought it to an attendant around 9:30 Monday evening.
“Because of this, they felt it was suspicious enough that perhaps the bomb squad should be called in and because the squad was working on a call not too far away, they were able to attend fairly quickly.”
The RCMP bomb squad removed the item using a robot.
The station was closed for around two hours but has re-opened.
