But as now you too can have a look at the BC government’s multi-million dollar contract with IBM.
The province released the full contract late Tuesday, after losing an eight year legal battle with the BC Freedom of Information and Privacy Association.
The argument?
Releasing the documents would increase the risk of security threats.
But the BC Supreme Court did not buy it.

The $ 300-million dollar deal signed in 2004 made IBM in charge of computer support for the civil service.
The $ 230-thousand dollars spent by the province fighting the release does not include the cost of government staff lawyers.
