Two men from Surrey are in hospital with serious burns after police say a propane heater accidentally exploded.
RCMP say the two men had turned on a propane heater inside a trailer to apparently keep a fresh coat of paint from freezing.
The men were inside with the door closed when the flammable paint fumes ignited.
A loud bang echoed through the neighbourhood and the men were thrown 20 to 30 feet.
Police say they are expected to recover.
