BC’s Justice Minister says the case of two schools in Vancouver being mailed body parts is “absolutely horrific.”
Shirley Bond says Vancouver Police have her support in the investigation, “Well, first of all, it is extremely troubling and I was made aware of the circumstances. The Vancouver Police Department was very responsive very quickly and you know, we are not in a position to speculate about any connections to anything else that has happened, we just need to make sure that the investigation takes its course.”
When asked if the Province might help VPD financially if they need, Bond said she is assured they have all the resources they need.
She says she is also concerned about the staff and others who opened the packages.
