Burnaby RCMP are issuing an urgent alert about a man they describe as armed and extremely dangerous.
Inspector Tim Shields says 26-year old Angus David Mitchell is wanted in connection with an attempted murder last night on Gilpin Crescent.
Mitchell is also a person of interest in the May 27 double homicide that occured inside a sushi restaurant on Royal Oak Avenue.
Police believe mitchell is armed with a high powered rifle with a scope.
He is believed to be living out of his 1994 Ford Aerostar van with BC licence plate 5-9-1 P-T-G.
