Burnaby Mounties say a serial thief may be at work after recent string of car break-ins.
Staff Sgt. Rob Lemon says nearly 20 vehicles have been robbed this weekend.
The latest spree happened early this morning, at an underground parkade in the 6700 block of Willingdon Avenue.
“The windows smashed in, various items taken. … The method that they had been broken into and the numbers were similar to an occurrence that happened yesterday.”
That was at another parking lot, in the 5700 block of Sidley Street.
Police remind drivers not to leave any valuables in their cars overnight.
