VANCOUVER – Canfor Pulp Products Inc. (TSX:CFX) says it’s delaying the start-up of one of the two lines at its Northwood pulp mill in Prince George, B.C., to complete an upgrade project.
The two-week delay will reduce fourth-quarter polp production by about 10,000 tonnes.
“Management is focusing on managing the associated project delays and mitigating anticipated project cost overruns,” Canfor said in a brief statement Thursday.
