Clinton speaks at Stanley Park concert

Former U.S. President Bill Clinton’s address at a Stanley Park concert was brief, but applauded.
Clinton appeared on stage with Sarah McLachlan as a favour to the Vancouver-based songstress, who has now raised more than a million dollars for her 10-year-old school of music.
Clinton was the first person to bring the crowd of more than 10,000 to their feet.
He spoke for less than two minutes, but during the address, pointed out the importance of having music programs in schools.
Security backstage was tight for Clinton, who was spotted chatting with Bryan Adams – one of the final performers of the evening – along with Stevie Nicks and McLachlan.
