Coroner Barb McClintock says it could take time to identify the body parts sent to schools Tuesday, but it’s possible there may be a link to the murder investigation in Montreal, “If we have a possible, we think it might be so-and-so, and in this case, that student, then, you can do DNA comparisons relatively quickly. So whether we do it, whether the RCMP want to do it, you know, how fast everybody’s lab can work, we can do it reasonably quickly.”
Meanwhile, Vancouver Mayor Gregor Robertson has issued a brief statement saying he find Tuesday’s events, “deeply disturbing and repugnant,” and police have his full support in this investigation.
