Emergency crews have closed some Delta streets as they try to get a large fire under control.
A barn on 59th Avenue is fully involved, and firefighters are treating it as a defensive operation.
Callers to CKNW say the fire is highly visible.
“we’ve got cops blocking the road, transit is stopped there, and there’s a huge column of black smoke and flames.”
Crews have shut down 104th Street between 64th Avenue and Highway Ten.
