BC NDP leader Adrian Dix says his party would be ready if an election were just a few months down the road.
“(The B.C. Liberals) will call an election when they call an election and we’ll be ready. We’ve got the best team of candidates that I think the NDP has ever put forward in a provincial election. Many of them already nominated because we were expecting the possibility of an election this year, and it feels good.”
Dix says the economy will be a priority, saying the middle class is squeezed and it’s becoming harder and harder for people to get by.
Dix was speaking on The World Today Weekend following a three-day party convention in Vancouver.
