DNA match body parts sent to Vancouver schools to remains of Jun Lin

DNA tests have revealed the hand and foot sent to two Vancouver schools belong to the man believed to have been murdered and dismembered by Luka Magnotta.

Montreal police confirm the body parts sent to False Creek Elementary and Saint George’s School two weeks ago are those of 33-year-old Jun Lin.

A hand and foot sent to offices of political parties in Ottawa have also been confirmed to be Lin’s, as well as a torso found near a Montreal dumpster.

His head remains missing.

Magnotta is still awaiting extradition to Canada from Berlin, after he was arrested there following an international manhunt.
