The Duke Point Ferry terminal will re-open on May 1st.
BC Ferries closed it last December 20th after the “Coastal Inspiration” crashed into it, causing two million dollars in damage.
The crew on the bridge of the ferry lost control while docking, due to the failure of a relatively inexpensive electronic component card.
