Ridge Meadows RCMP say one person is dead, another has serious injuries following a crash at Dewdney Trunk Road and Dunbar Street.
“Two vehicles were seriously damaged and six persons were involved in the accident. Tragically, one was found to be deceased at the scene and another has been transported to the hospital in serious condition.”
Inspector Davis Wendell says an RCMP officer on routine patrol was the first to notice the collision around 2:40 Sunday morning.
It’s unclear if speed or alcohol were factors.
While fog was an issue for many drivers, apparently visibility was normal at the time and location of the crash.
