Another major company is moving to Surrey.
FedEx Freight has announced the construction of a new, multi-million dollar service centre.
FedEx Freight’s VP of operations, Grant Crawford, says the facility will be the largest in Canada, and is expected to cost over 20-million dollars.
“Vancouver just continues to be such a dynamic area of opportunity and ongoing growth.”
Crawford says FedEx Freight currently uses a local supplier that will now become a part of its operation.
Around fifty jobs will be added immediately, but Crawford says the potential for massive growth exists.
