Four brand new homes have been destroyed in Maple Ridge after a fire in a construction site.
Maple Ridge Fire chief Howard Exner says there is no word yet on the cause.
But says the fire spread so quickly as the houses were under construction.
“Well it was a very aggressive fire there was bascially four houses that were under construction that did not have any fire separation or fire protection in them yet.”
One completed house where people had moved in appears heavily damaged by fire on one side.
And is also extensively water damaged.
Nobody was hurt in the blaze.
