It’s not often that forest fires are a big concern at Thanksgiving.
But the coastal fire centre says continuing dry weather means high to extreme fire danger throughout the lower mainland and Southern Vancouver island.
The centre says fuels on the forest floor are very dry, and warm breezy days with no precipitation will not lower the danger any time soon.
