Another trip to the Labour Relations Board has wrapped up for the BC Teachers Federation and BC Public School Employers Association.
BCTF President Susan Lambert says she hopes the LRB takes its time over the ruling on extra-curricular work.
Lambert admits the repeated trips to the LRB are taking their toll, “This kind of relentless trips to the Labour Relations Board to try and somehow regulate every second of teacher time not recognizing that teachers are responsible professionals I think is so unfortunate.”
BC P-SEA has asked the LRB to rule on whether or not a teachers ban on extra-curricular work is, in fact, illegal strike action.
