Surrey Mayor Dianne Watts is out of the country, taking part in a mayors’ forum in Switzerland.
Watts is one of 15 mayors from around the world congregating on the shores of Lake Geneva for a series of private forums around the importance of cities.
It’s called, Cities: the Laboratories of the future, and includes various organizations and experts, “I’m happy to say the mayor of geneva is covering off my airfare and accommodation for the conference, so I’m happy about that!”
The two-day workshop gets started Thursday.
