Chase RCMP and search and rescue are conducting air and ground searches of the Seymour River and Seymour Falls area, looking for a young man who was accidentally swept away while swimming in the Seymour River Monday afternoon.
Police say the man was with a friend when he jumped into the river to cool off and was swept down river.
He’s been identified as 24 year old Andrew Wilson of Salmon Arm.
