MP Garrison joins chorus calling for change in the RCMP

The federal opposition critic on public safety is joining the chorus of calls for change in the RCMP.
Esquimalt-Juan de Fuca NDP Member of Parliament Randall Garrison says the recent case involving the transfer of Sergeant Don Ray to BC – is just the latest in a long line of issues.

“It doesn’t look like the problem of sexual harassment is being taken seriously enough, and this would be an example of why it doesn’t appear to be that way.”

Garrison also isn’t buying recent comments from Cabinet minister James Moore – in which Moore says the government can’t tell the RCMP how to do its job.
Garrison calls that, “passing the buck.”
