One man has been arrested after another man was found at the intersection of Canada Way and Douglas Road suffering from stab wounds to his abdomen.
Burnaby RCMP Sergeant Dwayne Beckerleg says police traced the incident to a nearby apartment building.
“Apparently the male from the apartment was taken into custody, and we’re still in the initial stages of the investigation.”
The man’s wounds are not believed to be life threatening. Police are unsure why the man was stabbed, or how the two knew each other.
