The pilot killed in the plane crash has been identified as 44 year old Luc Fortin of North Vancouver.
That information comes to us from the BC Coroner’s Service.
The plane crashed while attempting to return to Vancouver International, after leaving on a flight to Kelowna.
Fortin died in hospital last night after five hours after the crash.
He suffered severe burning in the fire.
