Prime Minister Stephen Harper has confirmed he has discussed Premier Christy Clark’s demands regarding the proposed Northern Gateway pipeline with her, but he’s not saying how or if he plans to address them.
Harper insists he has no plans to push the controversial project ahead, saying projects have to be evaluated on their own merits.
Premier Clark says she won’t support the Enbridge proposal if BC doesn’t get a more fair share of the benefits.
Most of the financial benefit would go to Alberta.
Most of the risk would fall to BC.
