Vancouver Police are releasing some new information into the death of a 50-year old aboriginal woman in Vancouver’s downtown eastside last night.
Constable Jana McGuinness says Verna Simard, a woman she describes as well-known in the neighbourhood, fell from a sixth-floor window at the Regent Hotel around 8:00 p.m. Friday.
