COQUITLAM, B.C. – Police are looking for possible gang links to a shooting that left a man wounded in Coquitlam, B.C. Wednesday.
RCMP Sgt. Peter Thiessen says the attack appears to have been targeted and the victim is known to various police departments in Metro Vancouver.
He says the man is expected to survive.
The shooting occurred at a Mr. Lube outlet around the noon hour while people were in their cars waiting for service.
Thiessen says the investigation is in its preliminary stages and no arrests have been made.
