B.C’s Deputy Premier is shaking his head at any talk of the Liberal caucus being in “chaos” ahead of next week’s budget being tabled.
Rich Coleman says to put it simply the talk is just ridiculous.
“It really is, you know I saw some of the stuff last night and I thought these guys should actually come inside the room but we don’t allow them in the room. You know we have had folks that have had differing opinions but we have always been that way we have been the party of free votes since 1997 that has never changed so I think if we had a vote in the house we would win it we will continue to win it and we will come out of this session strong.”
Coleman, in recent weeks, has twice predicted the Liberals will win the spring election.
Yesterday a source told CKNW some MLA’s within the Liberal caucus were angry with the premier’s leadership and an lacklustre throne speech.
