Still working to repair storm damage

Power crews are still working to restore electricity to about 12 hundred people in the Campbell and Powell River areas after a windstorm created havoc.

Downed Hydro wires and toppled trees originally left about 110-thousand people without service in coastal BC, most of them on the Vancouver Island.

The storm also caused a cancellation in ferry sailings and kept thousands of students home from school.

There are also some small, scattered outages on Bowen Island and North Vancouver this morning.
