The trial of a young man accused of killing an elderly man in Surrey, following a street race nearly three years ago is now in its second day.
Pritam Benning died in hospital five days after he was run down while waiting for a bus in September of 2009.
He was 83 years old.
Gurjit Dhillon is the 28 year old charged with the dangerous operation of a vehicle causing death.
Prosecutors say his black corvette struck benning while racing a yellow corvette.
The other driver has never come forward.
Tomorrow, the judge will hear the 911 call made by Dhillon moments after the crash.
