Tough talk deserves apology says MLA

Kamloops South MLA Kevin Krueger is in the sights of the NDP’s Attorney-General critic after he torched BC’s Judges in a tirade in the Legislature.

Leonard Krog has written to the Premier and Attorney-General Shirley Bond demanding they force Kreuger to withdraw the comments.

Krog says as BC’s chief law enforcement officer, Shirley Bond must step forward and defend the Judges who Krueger accused of being lazy and whiners, “Judges are in the unique position of not being able to comment on things the way politicians can and it is why it is incumbant upon the Attorney-General to defend them and for members of  the bar to defend Judges. What Mr. Krueger said was simply, absolutely inappropriate.”

Krog takes particular exception to Krueger accusing an unnamed Judge of letting an accused child offender walk just to make a political point.
