Translink will switch to its fall schedule on September 3rd and 4th.
Spokesman Drew Snider says Tuesday and Wednesday are some of the busiest days of the year and suggests commuters budget a few extra minutes.
“Maybe start earlier, especially on West Coast Express, because more people are suddenly surging back onto that part of our system, so you might just want to start earlier and get out there in time to make sure you’re on your train and get a good seat on that. And it’s about the same on the other parts of the system too, especially on Skytrain.”
Snider notes Translink has been dealing with ever-increasing numbers of passengers but the budget has remained the same since 2010.
