The University of BC now ranks 25th among the world’s top 100.
According to the 2012 Times Higher Education Reputation Rankings Survey released in London, England, UBC jumped up 6 spots from last year.
The rankings are based on a survey of more than 17 thousand respondents from 137 countries.
UBC President Stephen Toope says UBC’s ranking reflects their strong commitment to international research collaboration and producing new knowledge that benefits Canada and the world.
Only 100 universities are listed in the world reputation rankings.
