It will be completely new look for Granville and Georgia in downtown Vancouver, once Nordstrom opens in the old Sears location by the spring of 2015.
The Seattle-based retailer officially announced this morning it’s coming to four Canadian cities.
Wayne Barwise of Cadillac Fairview, the landlord, says they will completely re-do a building many think is ugly.
“Those eight floors will be converted to, at the concourse level, 48-thousand square feet of new, small-store best-in-class shops. Nordstrom will then occupy the first 23 levels, commencing at street level.”
The top four floors will be office space.
