Vancouver police are asking for help to find two men they say helped stop a sexual assault on New Year’s Day.
They say a man had attacked a 38-year-old woman on the north side of Broadway near Granville Street as she was getting out of a cab around 4 a.m.
Two men waiting at a bus stop nearby ran over, and the attacker left before the assault got worse.
Police say the Good Samaritans could have information to help identify the suspect, and ask them to come forward.
