Fourteen people are confirmed dead and up to fifty have been wounded at the Century 16 film theaters at the Aurora Mall in suburban Denver reports The Australian.
A man wearing body armor and a gas mask apparently used teargas and then began shooting during a midnight screening of “The Dark Knight Rises”. Most of the dead in the cinema itself were children or teenagers, while a baby was shot point blank.
Moviegoers apparently initially thought it was part of the film. A suspect has been taken into custody, but no name was released.
