A couple of important U.S. film release dates were announced today.
Magnolia Pictures has announced a June 8th U.S. theatrical release of “Bel Ami” starring Robert Pattinson, Uma Thurman and Kristin Scott Thomas.
Fox Searchlight has also scheduled the indie rom-com “Lola Versus” starring Greta Gerwig for a June 8th release. The pair will open opposite DWA’s third “Madagascar” along with Ridley Scott’s sci-fi epic “Prometheus”.
Summit has pushed back the Henry Cavill-led action conspiracy thriller “The Cold Light of Day” from an April 6th to a September 7th release, a weekend that currently has no major releases.
Focus Features have set Joe Wright’s much anticipated and experimental take on Tolstoy’s “Anna Karenina” for a limited theatrical release on November 9th.
