Eye of Winter
Bryan Cranston, Alice Eve, Logan Marshall Green, Ursula Parker and Leo Fitzpatrick are all set to star in Tze Chun’s indie “Eye of Winter” at Syncopated Films and Sasquatch Films. Chun co-wrote the script with Osgood Perkins and Nick Simon.

Eve plays a struggling motel owner who, along with her daughter, is taken hostage by a nearly blind career criminal (Cranston) to be his eyes as he attempts to retrieve his cash package from a crooked cop (Marshall-Green). [Source: Variety

Killing Winston Jones
Richard Dreyfuss, Danny Masterson, Danny Glover and Jon Heder have all signed on for the Joel David Moore-directed dark indie comedy “Killing Winston Jones” at RadioactiveGiant. Albert Sandoval and Daemon Hillin are producing and shooting kicks off Monday in Georgia.

Masterson plays a sixth-grade English teacher on a mission to get the newly constructed junior high gymnasium named after his father (Dreyfuss) despite the fact that the person so memorialized must be dead — leading to a bitter contest over the naming rights with his old rival (Glover). White Bird In A Blizzard
Christopher Meloni is in negotiations to play the male lead in Gregg Araki’s next feature “White Bird In A Blizzard”. Shailene Woodley, Eva Green, Shiloh Fernandez and Gabourey Sidibe are already attached.

Araki wrote the script, about a young woman whose life is upended when her mother disappears. [Source: Deadline

All Cheerleaders Die
Caitlin Stasey (“Tomorrow When the War Began”), Sianoa Smit-McPhee (“Hung”) and Tom Williamson have all joined Moderncine’s supernatural thriller “All Cheerleaders Die.” Lucky McKee (“May,” “The Woman”) and Chris Sivertson (“The Lost,” “I Know Who Killed Me”) are directing from their own script.

The story centers on a 17-year-old rebel on a mission to take down the captain of the high school football team who rallies a group of cheerleaders around her cause, but after a tragic turn of events the girls are thrust into a supernatural battle. Shooting begins next week in Los Angeles. [Source: Variety
