Cooper Out, Others Sought For “Crow” Reboot

Bradley Cooper has now left the reboot of “The Crow” in development at Relativity Media says Heat Vision

Cooper has departed the Juan Carlos Fresnadillo-directed supernatural action thriller due to his commitments to David O. Russell’s “Silver Linings Playbook” and Alex Proyas’ “Paradise Lost” which will shoot during the time ‘Crow’ is in production.

Now two potential names have emerged as replacements – Channing Tatum and Mark Wahlberg. Walhberg was offered the part last year but the deal never happened.

The Brandon Lee-led original follows a rock musician who is murdered while trying to save his fiancee from thugs. He is resurrected by supernatural forces and seeks revenge

Edward R. Pressman, Jeff Most, Ryan Kavanaugh, Enrique Lopez Lavigne and Belen Atienza will produce.
