Jonathan Creek
Alan Davies has confirmed that three new hour-long episodes of the long-running cult crime drama are set to film this autumn, with an early 2014 air date likely.

That does not include this year’s already filmed 90-minute Easter Weekend special “The Clue of the Savant’s Thumb” which marks the first JC episode since 2010’s Easter special “The Judas Tree”. [Source: Radio Times]

Sherlock
Filmmaker Paul McGuigan, who has directed four of the six episodes of BBC’s “Sherlock”, will NOT be returning to helm any episodes in the upcoming third season.

McGuigan is too busy with work on the Max Landis-scripted “Frankenstein” to helm any of the episodes which begin production in the next few weeks. [Source: Twitter]
