A massive collection of set photos and video have begun popping up from the first bits of filming in Pittsburgh for Christopher Nolan’s “The Dark Knight Rises”.
Christian Bale, Tom Hardy, Gary Oldman, Marion Cotillard, Nolan himself and more have been photographed on set so far. Amongst the photos are shows of Hardy in Bane in full costume which again forgoes the Mexican wrestler outfit in favour of almost military combat fatigues.
There’s also photos and video of Bane and Batman fighting while people around them seem to be in a gigantic police and prisoner riot in the sun and snow outside of a building. Two explosions in quick succession from the entrance of the building were also seen filmed, while more explosions were also seen filmed from a building which is standing in for Gotham City’s Blackgate Prison in the film.
There’s also shots of at least three Tumblers on-set which look to have the same design as the previous two films but all sporting the army desert camouflage paintjob we saw only briefly in “Batman Begins”.
